Export SOLIDWORKS PDM BOMs to xlsx with thumbnails – PDM2Excel

With version 6 of PDM2Excel, a new export function has been added to allow you to export your PDM BOM to xlsx with thumbnails.

The settings are controlled from the task setup page:

Enable thumbnails: The true or false toggle enables the task to save thumbnails.
Document manager API key: This is required in order to generate the thumbnails. Request this code from your own SOLIDWORKS reseller or contact us.
Thumbnails folder: If specified, the task will attempt to save png of the thumbnails to specified folder. This folder can be relative (to the root of the vault), absolute, inside and outside the vault.
