We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and growth of PDMPublisher and PDMShell. This role is responsible for understanding customer needs, identifying market opportunities, defining product requirements, and working closely with development, sales, support, and leadership to deliver valuable product improvements.
The ideal candidate understands engineering software, workflow automation, and customer-driven product development. They can balance business priorities, user needs, and technical constraints to help shape products that solve real problems for SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS PDM users.
Key Responsibilities
Own the product roadmap for PDMPublisher and PDMShell
Gather and organize feedback from customers, resellers, support, and internal teams
Identify pain points, feature opportunities, and areas for product improvement
Define product requirements, use cases, and feature specifications
Prioritize enhancements, bug fixes, and new functionality based on business value and customer impact
Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and support implementation
Coordinate product releases, feature rollouts, and internal communication
Help create product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
Support sales and customer success teams with demos, feature explanations, and rollout planning
Monitor product adoption, customer satisfaction, and competitive trends
Contribute to documentation, onboarding materials, and release notes
Required Qualifications
Experience in product management, technical product ownership, or software solution planning
Strong ability to gather requirements and translate them into clear product direction
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience managing priorities across multiple initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDWORKS PDM, or engineering software
Familiarity with CAD, PDM, workflow automation, or manufacturing processes
Experience working with B2B software products
Understanding of API-driven tools, file management, or engineering data workflows
Experience supporting product releases and customer-facing software improvements
